Nearly one hundred middle school students participated in the Carroll County Schools Annual Middle School Honor Chorus program on Thursday, March 9 at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center.
Special thanks to Mrs. Laura Martin, who served as the guest clinician and conductor for the event along with Ms. Yoshimi Yano, guest accompanist. Mrs. Martin received her Master of Music Degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia and Ms. Yano received her Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Thank you, Dr. Scott Smith, Chorus Director at Central Middle School along with Mrs. Rebecca Barlow, Chorus Director at Temple Middle School Mr. Michael Burnaman, Chorus Director at Bay Springs Middle School, and Glen Hoying, Chorus Director at Villa Rica Middle School for coordinating this premier event for our students.
