Ithica Elementary School Chorus Performs The Nutcracker

7:00 pmIthica Elementary School’s Chorus performed “The Nutcracker” on Saturday, January 6, at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. Students delighted the audience with songs and dances adapted from “The Nutcracker Suite” by Peter I. Tchaikovsky and “Nutcracker and the Mouse King” by E.T.A. Hoffman. Dancers from the Roanoke Academy of Ballet served as special guest performers.
The program was directed by Marcella Correa, choreographed by Vicki Parker and narrated by Ithica Elementary’s Assistant Principal, Cecilia Brown.
