The Carroll County School System Hosts Power of the Purse Event for the Community Foundation of West Georgia

Carroll County Schools hosted more than 500 guests at the Power of the Purse event on Thursday, August 16. Proceeds from this event and the Power of the Purse memberships are used to benefit women and children’s initiatives in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties. This year, the Power of the Purse will grant $16,000 to local nonprofits such as Carroll FERST Readers, Communities in Schools, Circles of West Georgia, Rapha Clinic of West Georgia, Full Circle Rescue, and more.
